Traditions

Traditions are an opportunity for intergenerational communication. Traditions set the stage for how the world looks to our children and can impact anyone we share them with. Join Lou and celebrate “Douglass style”, with holidays you have never heard of and traditions to match.

LIBRAL ARTS IS OUR 401K

We are married, we work together, and we play together.

Our content tells the story of how we got to where we are today, and where we are now, but the purpose of this website is about preparing for tomorrow. Retirement is more uncertain than ever before, especially for small business owners with multiple advocacy and activism projects.
100% of the proceeds of this site support one thing: a retirement fund we wouldn’t otherwise have.
LibRAL Arts is the liberation of having a future.

Fight-With-Your-Mind-logo-light

A movement to explore the importance of experiencing a shared reality through factual information, honesty, and a willingness to change our perceptions.

There's More Coming Soon...

A lot is going on in the world right now, and we’re working on making sure this site is a place to find a little humor in it all – please bear with us as we add each product collection and room of House Geek in the days and weeks to come.

The History of "House Geek"

In a reference to the royal houses in Dune, by Frank Herbert, “House Geek” was developed to refer to a group of geeky friends.  This label later was repurposed to be used as a name of an actual living space, and today, LibRAL Arts has transformed “House Geek” into a collection of designs celebrating the quirky and tiny living spaces of Lou’s past.
